PRESS RELEASE: Blair Dawson named Director of Volunteerism and Community Engagement
March 9, 2015 KULPSVILLE, Pa. – The North Penn United Way has named Blair Dawson the new Director of Volunteerism and Community Engagement. She will continue to build and grow relationships with all businesses and residents of the North Penn and Indian Valley community, while also organizing and implementing volunteer opportunities throughout the year for companies and individuals.
Dawson brings over eight years of various leadership and business development experience to the North Penn United Way. In her previous role as the Partnership Marketing Coordinator at the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, she was the Director of the Young Professionals Network, an affiliate of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce with 1,500 members. She also developed the Chamber’s first grassroots advocacy initiative and successfully created and executed the Chamber’s first leadership development program.
Prior to joining the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, Dawson was the Manager of Special Events at the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey, where she developed and executed over 150 events annually.
