COMMUNITY IMPACT
We all win when a child has a head start on quality education that leads to a successful career…when seniors have enough support to remain healthy and independent in their own homes…and when we all are assured - that if a crisis should befall us - we will have a safety net in our time of need. These are benefits that ripple out to the whole community.
The North Penn United Way is committed to creating opportunities for a better life for all. We are especially focused upon three community goals for North Penn and Indian Valley citizens:
-
Students Succeeding in School
-
Older Adults remaining as Independent and Community-Connected as Possible
-
Providing a Strong Safety Net for People in Crisis
United Way and our partners are working so that families who couldn’t otherwise afford it have access to safe, high-quality early learning opportunities so their children will have a brighter future. And we are working to ensure that our low income residents 65 and over can lead quality, productive and connected lifestyles while staying in their homes. And of course we will continue to make certain that community members who find themselves in crisis situations will have somewhere to turn for help and support.
The North Penn United Way is uniquely positioned to mobilize people and organizations that have the passion, expertise and resources to create lasting changes in community conditions now, and for future generations. We seek out innovative solutions to problems, and we measure the results of our efforts.
We invite you to be part of our solutions. We are asking community members to think of we before me and to do what you can to give, advocate and volunteer. That’s what it means to LIVE UNITED.
