2017 VITA Free Tax Preperation

VITA Free Income Tax Preparation Assistance

NEW: No Appointments, Walk-ins Only

North Penn United Way’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), provides free income tax preparation assistance to families or individuals whose annual household income is below $54,000. In addition to providing free tax preparation, VITA works to ensure everyone in the community receives all of the tax credits and deductions for which they are eligible.

Working in collaboration with Campaign for Working Families, VITA tax preperation is offered to individuals and families earning $54,000 or less in 2016. On-site, you will be assisted by one of our IRS-certified volunteer tax preparers with your federal and state return. All taxes are filed electronically.

Please note, no appointments will be scheduled this year, all walk-in appointments only at the times listed below.

Don’t have time to wait for your return to be filed? Feel free to drop off your taxes at the site for VITA drop-off returns.
